Really Tired:
this song starts off with the Gen3ric that I feel in love with back before he was Gen3ric. a great in depth look at what growing up was like for him. The mix is really fancy, a lot of work in the FX and the ear candy. The lyrics are great in this one, it doesn’t need all the over the top FX IMO because the song is so relatable..
The song is very short, I felt like it was over before I got to start enjoying it.
I do love how the song starts out , after I listen three or four times, I wonder if this is a hint at Gen3ric is tired of rapping and this could be the end?

Livin Wrong:

This beat is just beautiful, I feel like the hook is written to appeal to the younger generation of rap fans, as I personally felt like he could of used some more mature words rather than “Savage”, but then it wouldn’t appeal to those who buy music.
The verse from Gen3ric is solid once again, the man is a great writer. the build up of energy in the verse is also nice to hear as it adds a bit of emotion to the verse that I appreciate. I cant say I’m a fan of the 4 bars of auto tunish , correction moaning haha

2nd verse by Bizzle, don’t sound on par with the first verse, just a little open on the reverb . sort of a little hollow. I do feel like he did a good job of imitating the delivery and keeping the vibe through the whole song. I don’t get the feeling this written was as deep or from the same area the first was written in.

Dope little song tho..

BLIND:

another dope ass beat.. the production so far on this record is everything but Gen3ric.
I really like the chorus on this song, a fun lil almost kinda cheesy love jam. I’m usually not one for love jams, but I find this just really fun, kinda cocky, I can picture the video, like a michael jackson vibe where he is trying to spit game and the girl is walking away, but still slightly interested . Oddly this is my fav song of the three I’ve listened too so far..

ON THE VERGE:

Too bad this is just a interlude… the hook is easily the catchiest delivery I heard on this whole album, the build up on this is great. not a fan of the shaky auto tune on the “I’M ON THE VERGE” in the back grounds, but this song is very strong. I guess the part I like at the start isn’t the hook, but it should of been. this was pretty dope.. ended way too fast.

SO COLD:

nice little piano beat.. this song starts out pretty dope with a acoustic feelin and then once again builds up with the drums sneaking in . a whole lot of correction on this song on the singing, but then a raw rap comes in that for me is a breath of fresh air for this overly FX sounding record… for a small second I got to hear Gen3ric… this so far has to be my least fav one… the super amount of auto tune turns me off, but I can see a lot of people really loving this one.

RUNNIN:

a nice little up tempo beat, I like the chorus, “i been runnin thru the city like a fool, but no body been chasing” I feel that .

I’m not getting any kind of vibe from this song like it’s just a filler a song, a song with no emotional attachment like the last songs I’ve listened . The Heath Riddle verse is the same. It’s a dope rap but their is no content on this one, just a dope ass delivery and rappin’.

PLEASE:

another beautiful piano beat, man, this has to be one of the best produced albums I heard in a while… I get a huge Post Malone vibe from this. even on these beats I would normally consider a sad type song, Gen3ric makes them up tempo type songs… I like this one , the rap verse is just that a fucking rap verse. another less FX and more hip hop..The chorus is even light on the FX… really liking this .. the verses are pretty solid “drinking way to much , instead of singing I been getting anxious” a lot of truths for a lot of people hidding inside some of these lyrics…

BEEN GONE:

I really love how this song starts off like it’s going to be a straight hip hop track , but it jumps off back into the auto tune vibe that this album has carried through out… I’ve listened to this song three times already and I feel like this may be the most open Gen3ric has gotten … I really like this one.. Not a huge fan of the overly performed hook, but the verses on this are FIRE FIRE FIRE!!!!!!

FIND ME:

This whole record is starting to show me that year of 2020 had a lot of hurt on people… First verse from Taylor Graves was well executed, it sounded really good, short, but was effective..

Gen3ric comes in with a straight rap verse and for me that is gold…. the man can rap he doesn’t need that make up all over it… this shit is pure fire… I can honestly say in my opinion that Gen3ric out rapped every feature on this album…
this song slaps…. this is easily a single…

BLAME:

this shit is pretty fucking dope.. Marko Park$ is one of the best out our area…. wow… he kills this verse… I may have to take back what I said about Gen3ric out rapping every one ha ha… but in fairness he didn’t rap ha ha .. This song may be my fav overall… YES YES YES Gen3ric came in rappin AYYY AYYY AYYY!!!!
I just got really excited on this shit.  I can’t even review it because this ho is just a head nodder!!!

MEDICATED:

This album is getting so much stronger as it goes on . this song right here is straight bars, I been waiting for a hip hop song and this is as close as I think I’m going to get… even when the hook came in I was expecting it to change up , but this is has been all Gen3ric… I really like this… 2nd verse is fire!!! yes !!!! this shit is about to break my neck…
I could really vibe to this on my own time.. “I started writing so I wouldn’t overdose, not this shit feel like a sickness” GODDAMN!!!
WHEEEW!

RIDIN ALL ALONE:

this album is easy to jam too cuz it’s all so friendly in what you hear mainstream wise, every song is a radio jam, well except the ones I like haha.. The songs I think are going to be over saturated with FX are the ones Gen3ric surprises me with and just raps his ass off… yessir the hook is really solid, very smooth, mixed great…
here comes NOVA.. it’s nice to hear Nova rappin , I really feel like Nova came from the heart, and spit just some bars about shit he felt… I’m actually glad I didn’t hear him sing.. Legacy…. a slow delivery , kinda boring and repetitive… I feel like dude is 1000X better than this… not feeling his verse on this song.. I know he is way dope…

GROWN:

My fav beat so far…I honestly feel like every one of these songs have the same vibe.. it’s becoming predictable…
this beat is so fucking dope haha…. and if you really just sit and pay attention to the lyrics its really good. I don’t think people will listen to it tho , they are just gonna “vibe”  this whole record has actually been kinda depressing.. this song is kinda like wtf? “Teach the kids to be just like her cuz one day she’ll b e gone” wtf ?
I dunno why but I kinda like this one… it was short as fuck, but I liked it…
hmmm

VIBIN:

I hate how the same this album is… funny I type that and then all of a sudden it changes and Gen3ric starts rapping with nothing compensating the flow haha…
he said “my wife is tired of my cussin but I never listen I  been running my mouth since I was a youngin” haha.
this song is pretty dope…. the words once again are so good…

BRAIN DEAD:

this fucking song… haha… the lyrics are weird as fuck, delivery dope as fuck, if you aint paying attention this shit would be dope as fuck, but I’m over like WTF? hahah beat is dope as fuck .. “haunted house, Old souls” that was dope
this fucking song foo said “I hate horses, POLO!!!” lol
I feel like Gen3ric comes in on the same vibe…. this song just aint about shit but its fun as hell
I’m done with this album ..
this aint my song haha… fun as hell but not my shit…

OVERALL:

I’m old as fuck and I gotta say this album really isn’t for me.. every one else who is about half my age will probably consider this a classic.
The FX on this album aren’t my style. they are way over done way over the top, to the extreme and just every thing that the new era is about.
The lyrics are really in tune with some conscious rap , but it’s hidden behind a filter.. it’s like a naturally pretty girl who uses filters to make her self look great . everyone looks at her but no one wants to see her in the flesh…

I personally would love to hear a straight rap album from Gen3ric… something that shows straight RAPPIN…
this album shows me everything else… the guy is a god at engineering .. he is a god at manipulation of mixing and giving you a really commercial record..
anyone younger than me will love this record…
