The Video starts off being narrated. The story is being laid out from a previous music video that Gen3ric did that leads up to part 2 of the series.
The actual video tells a story in it’s self demanding the listener and or viewer to pay attention to not only the lyrics but also the video. To me that is a marketing genius due to making the consumer go back and re watch to see if he followed the plot correctly.
The beat on this song is just perfect, it reminds me of just a laid back cool ass party beat. One great thing about Gen3ric is his hooks are so industry it trips me out that he hasn’t been signed to a small independent marketing deal at least. The video quickly tells me that Gen3ric fell for the girls tricks and ends up at the part with his homeboy Nick Jones.. The video is set in a party scene with some great indoor and out door shots. Gen3ric is a pro at working the camera and has a natural vibe that screams professionalism. Nick Jones has a very mainstream sound, I feel like I’ve heard him on a hit radio song at some point. He has everything a major artist has down pat, from the new school dancing to the new school auto tuned sound, Nick Jones is a absolute beast! The goes from a party scene to what appears to be every one smashed drunk and drugged from all sharing the drink that was Roofied.. What I got from the video is Gen3ric was the only one who didn’t get drugged and had to be taken out with the good ol Chloroform trick….
Over all I really liked this song. It had a great vibe that kept my head nodding the whole time. I enjoyed the production and the engineering was top grade.. I really feel like this song could pull some strong numbers.
