Today the song I listened to was a powerful and emotional track that explored the dark and complex topic of addiction. The lyrics were raw and honest, describing the singer’s struggle with substance abuse and the constant battle to stay clean. The intense guitar riffs and heavy drum beats perfectly captured the chaotic and tumultuous nature of addiction, while the haunting melody and haunting vocals conveyed the pain and despair of falling into addiction from time to time.

I felt like when the song got really heavy and then went into the singing parts the transitions were a little lackluster, I thought the guitars ended abruptly. The singer is really great at the growls especially later in the song where the slower singing is being accompanied by the growls in the background, I really enjoyed that part.

This song reminds me of something I would hear on a WWE video game haha, it’s pretty catchy and has replay value. My oldest son, who is 20 actually said he was going to add this to his playlist. Badass!! I’m always up for songs that speak about addiction and give honest feelings and an in-depth look into it from a perspective outside of the hip hop culture.
