Today’s review is Danjul with the song Drama.
As soon as I hit play I was like YES! an RnB song. The song starts off with a real fun instrumental that reminds me of a futuristic techno beat. Danjul comes in with what sounds like heavy FX, I don’t think it was auto tune but it sounded a bit strange, I feel like the song is on the heavy side of FX. The good thing about that though is it blends well with the heavy industrial sound of the song. Drama is a song that I can imagine being a high energy dance song in a club, I feel like people would enjoy this, it has a likeness to The Weekend, Not vocal wise but over all sound. I’m starting to question my self on labeling this RNB when I now feel like it’s a bit more pop than anything. The more I have this song on loop the more I start to realize the catchy factor this song has and how well the back ground vocals are done in this song. The production of the song is nice as well as the overall mixing and mastering of the peice. IT’S SO CRAAAZYMY BAAABE! haha I really like the very start of the song. it starts off slow and then it starts to build and build and build and then WHAM! DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA! haha it’s laid out perfectly in the sense of a uphill climb.
Pretty cool song. I really like this one.
