S.A.E – Chain Gang

I got a chance to listen to S.A.E brand new song “Chain Gang” as soon as it started I was like “OH SHIT, THIS BEAT SLAPS” man the beat is super dope… the lyrics came in and I instantly knew that it was a new school type song with the melodic delivery and the auto tune, thankfully I feel like the auto tune is properly used, I’m starting to question my self if auto tune is even used or if the “other guy” just has that voice… now I’m even wondering is this a two man band or is it just one guy?? hmm
I feel like this song is a slapper, the beat has bass that will rattle the trunk off a 85 square body Caprice with ease… the first rapper has a style that works so well with the beat that you just vibe, when the hook comes in the rappers voice is kind of hi pitched so it’s the perfect tone. It’s like Bun B and Pimp C, the difference works together so well that the blend is fantastic.. I’m a old head so you can feel my position. In todays hip hop these guys have the recipe that makes a hit song, I really like the rapper he has a great presence and keeps the same persona thru out the song… the guy who does the hook has a very distinct voice and melodic delivery , this works so well…
I’m trying to think of something I can say that could be done better but I’m at a loss of words…
everything flows like a breeze, the mix is on point, the production is great, the mixing seems to be great…
what a fantastic song…
OK OK OK I’m jamming this shit again .. WHOOOOOA this slams, I literally have it rattling the paint off my 70 impala. I can’t say its the most lyrical song or these guys are the greatest rappers to ever live, but it just is a fun song to listen to, it has that vibe that keeps your head moving…. he said “I’m the white kid with the bomb at the school, everybody need to quit fucking with me”
