S.A.E – Millions

Today I’m reviewing another song by the homie S.A.E… This song is produced by Apollo Jay who could easily be producing for major artist as his production is on par with several radio friendly musicians I have heard before. This particular song has a mainstream appeal with auto tuned vocals and the distinct background adlibs through out the whole song. The first verse has a melodic vibe that easily keeps your head nodding. The double ups seem to be the same singing over and over which is kind of distracting to the overall vocal. I was told this song was just by S.A.E, but it almost sounds like the second rapper is a different person. I thought I heard them say KP, but I’m not sure. After going back and looking I’m almost positive this rappers name is KP and he is the feature. The 2nd verse has a nice flow, similar to the first one, it’s a great pairing if it is in fact someone else. I feel like the song ends a little weird with the space in between vocals, but it seems to work for the style of song we are given.
I like how this song is mixed overall as a whole, I feel like the background vocals could of been a little lower, but then again it really stays on par with the current sound of todays music. This song is not my style of music although the younger generation of music listeners will eat this up. When it comes to popular music everything is about growth and staying current. If S.A.E keeps it up , he will easily grab the attention of that younger crowd.
