Wazteland Warriorz – Fortune Teller

I gave this a listen before I wrote anything. So with that I’m going to start off by saying this may be my favorite song I’ve reviewed in a long while.. first off I’d like to say I get a super heavy ICP vibe from the Wazteland Warriorz, which to some would be a bad thing but for me personally, I my self make horrorcore music and tend to get labeled as “Juggalo Rap” I’m not saying this is what this particular song is , but that’s the vibe it gives me.. The song starts off with a small intro and a hook. the chorus is so infectious I really like it. I’m always a sucker for songs that have some kind of story to it, a song i can close my eyes and imagine every word with a story. The beat to this song has a pretty dope bassline that appears to be a bass guitar which really gives it that funky sound. The story from what I’m gathering is the Wazteland Warriorz go to a fortune teller and absolutely hate what they had to say so they murder her. I really like the first rapper, the emotion and the delivery are super solid. I feel like the story line is set up nicely and the way he ends the verse goes smoothly into the chorus.. The 2nd rapper I feel lacks a tad on the delivery as there is spots that seem a tad old school like “I didn’t need it An E Way” I do really like the 2nd rappers voice, I also enjoy the graphic imagery he put in his verse.
My favorite parts about this song is the extent of production time that went into it with the massive amount of back ground Fx that go with the lyrics.. very awesome.. I will easily add this to my playlist..
