Met On Monday
One thing I know about WMK is that he loves his wife. I have been honored to get to reviews practically all his songs and I have determined that he doesn’t write about anything fake, or anything that isn’t close to his heart. This is a classic tale of young love and long long relationship. once again something that hits home for me because I as well have been with my wife since we were 16 years old and we are now 40. This is a classic love song that I’m sure has been written 100 times over 100 different ways. I always thought these songs were wrote to show appreciation to the ones we love, but I also feel like sometimes these type songs can reach people who cant write songs and would love to show their own loved ones how they feel thru someone else lyrics. I guess that’s what music is all a bout right? This song makes me question the difference between a house and a home. This is really a beautiful ode, but I’m not sure it has the replay value as some of his other songs, although this only has to be replayed by one person to be a successful song. I love how the lyrics use the metaphor or taking sticks and stones and using them to build a home to prove the the ones who said it wouldn’t last wrong… 46 years… wow.. congratulations she is a lucky women .
