When Jake Fogle, and I Started Ca$h Roll Recordz in a classroom in Mclean Co KY I never dreamed 25 years later I would still be dreaming of it blowing up. Jake and I are still great friends, but other relationships with Ca$h Roll have seemed to disintegrate in to thin air like ashes being tossed in to the river.
A few years ago at a show I met a lady named Krystal. Krystal was more than a music fan, she was what I thought to be a business entrepreneur undiscovered in her own right. The next several weeks Krystal and I got to talking and decided to join up in the ownership of Money Tree Music Group.                                                                         Krystal is an asset that every company would love to have, Fearless, outgoing, motivated, and most importantly in love with the music.  Our first event that I remember was the Collaboration with WE RUN OWB and the Owensboro Food Critic. We hosted a awesome Food Challenge, and allowed local artist to showcase their talents in between rounds… Krystal was a natural leader, not only did she command the kitchen with food prep and making sure all donations were picked up on time, she also organized contracts and waivers for the participants to sign to make sure we as a company were cleared for any mishaps!

Krystal and I share the same dream, a dream to create a venue to promote and showcase Local and National talent. Our goals became obvious and we decided that’s what we would do. Shawn P’s business WE RUN OWB had already established a close relationship with local club Alter Egos and we knew that the current ownership was ready to move on to better things. Krystal and I met up with the owner and worked out a deal. I remember Nova D somehow learning about this event and trying to get me to admit it for a week or so haha. Finally I asked how he knew and he said “I was stuck at the train tracks and I saw you and Krystal go inside” LOL ol sly dog!
We were on board to take over the club , had a name, LLC, and everything we needed, but at the last minute, the deal fell through and that was the end of “THE RAIL HOUSE” which now we all laugh at because it sounds like a cocaine house in the early 70’s lol

A few months later we still didn’t give up, we had decided to start the DEAD KIDZ CLUB and run a Halloween horrorcore themed merch line. Krystal was adamant there was music involved so we started working on content and performance set. Krystal orchestrated several deals with Shawn P and the Venues to allow us to sell merch , and it was very successful.  We quickly jumped to signing a artist and funded a Album from local musician Dirty Raised Blaze, Krystal and I wrote up a contract and went about it the professional way. the Album was released later that year and is available on all major platforms..

Krystal and I then found a building that we absolutely loved, it involved a lot of legal grounds, visits to the the Zoning and Planning board and public city meetings. I asked Krystal I said “What do you know about zoning changes?” she said “Nothing but I got this”
That lady and I walked up into this room full of professional city employees in suits, and her ass talked to them motherfuckers like she was on the damn council her self, and we walked out of that building with paper work and proceedings to move forward in our goal.. I was shocked. a few calls and a Long ass city meeting, and WE WERE APPROVED FOR OUR VENUE!

After lots of work, and more meetings, the city approached us with the concern of parking. Apparently the street we were on that uses on street parking was now all of a sudden a no curbside parking area, and we had to have a parking lot. this particular building did not have one as it operated for years with curbside, or street parking. Krystal once again jumped into action and contacted the neighbors who had parking spaces and worked out a deal. To our disappointment when it became time to process the papers with the city the agreed parties decided not to move forward and we were forced to back out of the whole deal…

Today Krystal and I still have the same dreams, the same goals, and the same motivation. After talking about the next moves we decided to jump start Ca$h Roll Recordz. It’s been a name that has always held a great track record and is loved by many fans from years ago…
I’m proud to announce the partnership with Krystal onto a team that was formed over 25 years ago. I know she will take us to places we never been before due to lack of willingness to believe we can do anything we want, and Krystal has that mindset.. there is no NO’s or WE CANT’s.. I’m really excited for our next moves…
