KingWolf – Numb

It’s great to be sent a song like Numb from KingWolf. I’m so used to having to review rap songs that are promotions of murder, degrading of women, drug use and tons of other subject that dont teach, give a subject matter that could inspire or up lift. KingWolf told me he is an activist, and after listening to his lyrics I can tell he is not lying.
The beat in this song is fantastic. a very melodic beat that draws you in and compliments the lyrics from KingWolf. I almost wish there was a singer on this song, at least some oohs and ahhs in the background.
KingWolf is an artist that I feel like could make a difference with his voice. I will admit when I first heard his voice I was like who is this? kind of weird, but after a few listens that weirdness because unique and showed me that when KingWolf raps you automatically know the voice and who it is, which is a huge plus in a world of copycats.
I wish there was more rappers like KingWolf in the mainstream, rappers that showed us the power of positivity and what can happen when music changes life. I love in this song where KingWolf says “you’ll never see a king like me that’s facts” the way he sang it was great.

“the man in the mirror always looking back hates me” This song is really depressing once you really start to dig into it and get what’s it’s really about. The end of the song is also pretty catchy. I don’t feel like this is a song that people will drive around to jamming but it is a song that many people could relate to in private.
