William Matthew Kelly – Crying

Spread the love

What kind of Hippy Bob Dylan folk singing tune is this? A earth loving man is killing off the land tree hugger music ?? It’s a good thing I’m a sucker for these kinds of songs haha as a matter of fact out of all the smash hit songs Lynyrd Skynyd has my favorite one of all is a little known song they have about how the concrete is moving in and taking away the great land we all love.. We all have to admit there is nothing greater than fresh air and freedom and the ultimate freedom is the un touched earth. If you really sit down and listen to this song its a sad written detailed version what everyone is fighting about with global warming and things of that nature. I will never know the world like someone older than me known it and someone younger than me will never know the world as I have known it. We all remember when a certain part of town was un developed and we all remember when the city grew. I feel like ( I feel like I say I feel like a lot? do you feel like I do?) we never sit down and take into consideration what development does to life outside of humans. WMK says “mother nature must be saved” at the same time the big machine keeps rolling and keeps changing and turning this world upside down. SHEESH I sound like a crazy lefty who is ready to tie my self to a tree to save the world and even though I’m not, Id proudly support that because WMK is absolutely spot on with this song.. that clear water is turning brown, and so is our drinking water in certain cities, our air isn’t what it should be either Asthma and everything else is on the rise..
In hip hop we call songs like this “Conscious Rap” for me its the best rap you can hear… I’ll take this song over any one I heard so far from WMK. it has the power to change a mind that may change the world… great job.
