William Matthew Kelly – Watercolors

I really love the guitar melody on this track. As soon as it started I knew I was going to really like this song. The song is called Watercolors and its about paintings that my guy WMK wife does. Already this song is screaming the love he has for his wife to take such deep notice in her art that he was able to write a song to it. the line “Water colors by Alice” makes me think of a jingle, if this isn’t already a commercial it needs to be. This song would be the perfect background to sell commission pieces on the internet. The one great thing about art whether its songs or visual art it can change lives, sometimes it can bring emotion, and sometimes it can tell a story . WMK tells how it affects him in this song with lines like “Bring a tear to my eye”. You can tell he is not just writing this song for her to make her happy, or to get to “hold her hand” so to say, but genuinely writing it because he means it. I feel the connection he has with her art through my connection with his lyrics… Now Id like to see some of her work.
This one is not my ultimate favorite song I’ve heard from WMK, but it’s not supposed to be, I’m sure Alice loves it…
