Zayne – Arcane

I played this song all the way till the end and was confused at what I was listening too. I wasn’t sure if this was meant to be an instrumental or if the quiet whispering was the lyrics. I do like the instruments as it gives a calming effect that I enjoy. I’ve ran back through the track several times trying to make out the lyrics in question but they are very difficult to understand. I did make a few lines out like “the end of time”
I’m guessing Zayne is a producer who makes EDM beats but i’m concerned it’s not up tempo enough to dance too. As far as the actual instrumental goes I feel like the instruments are well put together and all blend pretty well. It’s a slower song so I can get a chill type vibe from it that for me seems to go the opposite direction of House, which I’m used to a hard thumping high adrenaline rush when listening to. The mixing of the track is pretty spot on , nothing is too loud or too low and everything is just right. I don’t have a set of subs hooked up so I can’t say how hard this rattles the speakers.
Zayne is on a different spectrum when it comes to house/Edm Music which may be a good thing as I always feel like standing out is always better than fitting in. you don’t want to get lost in the crowd when you can make something that seems original and stands out
I feel like this song is talking about somebody, possibly a love interest, or someone that someone has feelings for. I could actually picture this song being used in a movie scene or something of that nature more than I can see it becoming a so called hit… Not too bad..
